ICEMES - International Conference on Education, Medicine, Engineering and Sciences
Innovating for a Sustainable Future: Interdisciplinary Approaches in Education, Medicine, Engineering, and Sciences
Presentation Time
At ICEMES, we value exchanging ideas and knowledge through well-structured and timely presentations. Each presenter is allocated 30 minutes for their presentation, including the presentation itself and a Q&A session. Here's a detailed breakdown of the presentation time structure:
Presentation Breakdown
Introduction: Presenters should spend the first 2-3 minutes introducing themselves, their affiliation, and their presentation topic.
Main Presentation: The core of the presentation, lasting approximately 20 minutes, should cover the research, findings, methodologies, and any relevant data. Presenters should ensure their content is clear, concise, and engaging, using visual aids like slides or videos where appropriate.
Conclusion: The final 2-3 minutes should summarize the research's key points, findings, and implications. Presenters should also highlight any future directions for their work.
Q&A Session: Reserve the last 5 minutes for questions and answers. Prepare to address audience questions, providing clarifications and additional insights as needed.
Time Management Tips
To help you make the most of your allocated time, consider the following tips:
Rehearse Your Presentation: Practice delivering your presentation several times to get a feel for the timing. This approach will help you stay within 30 minutes and ensure a smooth flow.
Use Visual Aids Wisely: Visual aids can enhance understanding and engagement, but they should complement your spoken words, not overwhelm them. Ensure your slides are clear, relevant, and not overloaded with text.
Engage with Your Audience: Maintain eye contact, use body language effectively, and invite interaction during your presentation. This approach keeps the audience engaged and interested.
Be Concise: Focus on the most critical points of your research. Avoid unnecessary details and jargon that might confuse the audience or take up valuable time.
Technical Support
We provide technical support to ensure your presentation runs smoothly. Please arrive at your designated room at least 15 minutes before your session starts to check your equipment and upload your presentation file. Our technical staff will be on hand to assist with any setup requirements.
Adherence to Schedule
Adhering to the allocated time slots is crucial to ensuring the conference runs smoothly and on schedule. Each session will be monitored by a session chair, who will assist in keeping track of time. Please respect the time limits to allow fair and equal opportunities for all presenters.
Post-Presentation
After your presentation, we encourage you to stay in the room for the rest of the session to support your fellow presenters. This approach also offers an excellent opportunity for networking and further discussion of the presented topics.
We look forward to your insightful and engaging presentations that will contribute to the success of ICEMES. Thank you for your participation and dedication to advancing interdisciplinary research.
